Analept is the ingenious but somewhat quiet Guillaume Bacart from Tournai/Doornik (BE) who has been with us from day zero. He produces clean and well-balanced 90's 'IDM' with his own personal updated flavor. His hardware-based workflow delivers pure nostalgia in the best way possible, just close your eyes and let yourself be overwhelmed by the puzzle made up of precise drum programming and modular arpeggiator, all enveloped by discrete strings and pads. With his penchant for complex design and simple melodies it is easy to be time-traveled in the youth of the musician, the golden age of the chill-out rooms in rave parties.
